I have a fawny blue pit that has every kind of allergy imaginable , including grass. Anyway, I have tried everything imaginable out there. He has been on prednisone, antibiotics, shots,apoquel, diet change, bowl change and I cannot find anything to help him. His back breaks out in pimples and some open up and bleed, the sun makes it worse. And my other female Pit who is his mother, is always licking the blood off him so the scabs never heal well. I feel so bad because he is a gorgeous guy but his back looks horrid. I have also tried kefir, cocnut only, essential oils etc.... he smels awful because of the blood and although we use doggie wipes to try and help with odor...it really does no good.
