We have been feeding Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete. I like Diamond because it does not have Wheat, Corn or Soy. For treats the dogs get carrot sticks, cut-up apples & cooled steamed broccoli. We also give the dogs a raw egg 3-4 times a week as well.
Not sure if they do or not, but here's their website http://www.diamondpet.com/ We tried their Hi-Energy formula, but Ringo & Gunner's fur lost all of it's shine, so we switched to the Extreme Athlete because it has higher protein & fat content.
u want a high protein based formula.....kirkland....the cosco shit isnt bad ...i feel like its much better then exceed....its not just tje protein tho...its the ingredients tht the protein is coming from u dont want to feed ur dogs certain ingredients....educate urself and know what ur puting into ur dogs body.....i can tell u this u will be surprised.....Evo is the best but if ur have a busy program u cant afford tht....alpo & purina i would strongly advise against those brands...u might as well swich to a strait raw diet.....and diamond does have corn starch in it as well...again educate urself and know whats in the food.....this should help folks
Im doing taste of the wild its giving me some good results, but keep it real some of the best bullys Ive seen have been on Pedigree and Dog chow. lol Take it for what its worth I guess but its all about genetics.
I HAD A CO WORKER TODAY TELL ME ABOUT HIS DOG SCRATCHING CONSTANTLY AND LOSING FUR! ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS FEEDING,HE SAID SCIECE DIET!!! I JUST LAUGHED AND SAID LOOK HOMIE YOULL BE VERY SURPRISED WHAT A GOOD DOG FOOD CAN REALLY DO! GAVE HIM A COUPLE OF OPTIONS AND MY SECRET INGREDIENT,....WATCH IN 2 WEEKS THAT DOG WILL BE A CH. .......LOL!!
