i believe alll breedings r different... its a fifty fifty toss up... just like humans its hard to say... but when u have a litter of puppies some may look like thier mothers some like thier fathers... not to mention alot of humans n dogs supposely throw back to thier granparents...

in an outcross to me it seems to be a 25%dam 25%sire and 50% luck! i say this because with an out cross it is way to early to tell what was locked in as "soild traits" that can be past down the line. (day 1)

with 1st and 2nd generation 'light line and scatered " breeding program you start to see the traits come out weather they are good or bad. At this stage is were i feel the foundation begans.....At the same time this where people start to get in a hurry and f@#! shit up. At this stage I would say it is 50/50 contribution to the looks.(3-5 years)

At 4 and 5 Generations deep your foundatiion and traits are locked in soild......this is where super bullies are created with the proper selective breedings with 1st and 2nd generation dogs. here is where I feel male or female would care a 70/30.( 8-??? years)

since building a true blood line takes 10-15 years most people would not understand why and where the traits came from and can only guess why their bully looks the way it does. good,great or shitty!
