I live out in the country dogs get in grass and weeds all the time and I have had no problems

i use to use FRONTLINE works great

but since we moved to Az theres no fleas or ticks in the area i live

isn't frontline the one that's in a small bottle that you put in between the dogs shoulders and down their spine once a month or something like that

ivermectin, same medicine they use for horses. use 1/10 of a ML per 10 lbs of body weight. treats fleas ticks ringworms and heartworms. Cost about 38.00 a bottle and will treat about 10 dogs for 5 months. It's the same medicine that's in frontline

do you put it on their skin or give it to them orally and which one do you buy there is about ten different ones where I am at

It's called Ivomec and you give it orally. You need a needle to get it out of the bottle however. Any feed store that has horse medicine should have it. Just make sure you weigh the dogs first and get the dosage right. 1/10 of a ML/CC per 10 lbs.

just use something for ticks and fleas! and ear mites just started that up! my dog was scratchin couldn't help but add it to the rutine!
