I had to put up a post for all my MMA fans (LIKE ME!) Tonight on pay per view sparks the 99th UFC Pay Per View entitled UFC 99: The Comeback. This fight card is pretty stacked but im gonna talk about the top 3 fights on the card and give my opinion on them. One is Mike "Quick" Swick vs. Ben "Killer B" Saunders. Mike is named quick for a reason. He's a welterweight with the speed of a lightweight and power of a middleweight. He's 13-2 with majority wins coming by ko. Ben Saunders is currently undefeated with a 7-0 record and 2 draws. Mike is gonna be a tough opponent for Ben and the fact that they both love to stand up is gonna make for an exciting fight! Even though Ben is undefeated i think the Mike has more experience and quicker hands then Ben and will dominate him and finish it early! The Next fight is Cheick Kongo vs Cain Velasquez. I must admit, Cain Velasquez is impressive and is a beast inside the octagon. He is a power house with an undefeated record of 5-0. Even though he is undefeated he faces his toughest task tonight. Cheick Kongo is one of the top heavyweights in the game today. He holds a record of 24-4-1. His record speaks for itself. He's a tall quick heavyweight with incredible ko power. This is gonna be one hell of a fight. I think Kongo is gonna come out on top. He just the experience factor in this fight and plus i believe he has been training harder then Velasquez because even though Kongo has alotof fights and wants to when, he wants a title shot even more. And last but not least, the most important fight of the night, Wanderlei Silva vs Rich Franklin! This fight as some in stake. Rich Franklin is a former middleweight champion and was the king of the middleweight division until he met current Middleweight Champ Anderson Silva. Franklin is 26-4 and has now moved up to light heavyweight. He loves to strike but his no stranger to the ground just like his opponent! Wanderlei Silva is powerhouse and former Pride Light Heavyweight Champ! He's fought and beatin some of the best in the world today. Silva his known for his amazing punching power and brutal fight style. I can't really say who would when this because it could honestly go either way, and the winner would move closer to a possible title shot in the near future. Another thing is Rich Franklin was training for this fight with the man who defeated him and took his title, the pound for pound fighter in the world Anderson Silva. Word got back to Wanderlei and he was not happy lol. So if Wanderlei wins this fight against Franklin and Anderson wins his fight against Forrest Griffin (which he will lol), we just might see Silva vs Silva!

Franklin and Silva was a good fight and cro cop and al turk was alright I think cro cop was gonna destroy him even without the eye poke. swick and saunders ended up about like I thought it would it was. other than that all the fights were boring to watch
I forgot about cain valasquez he beat up kongo pretty good. If he would have stayed up and banged with him he might not have liked it. He got knocked down the beginning of every round and then took him down. But he did a good job
who won that cro cop fight? he used to be a bad dude in pride. he hasnt really done anything in the ufc so far. i thought he was going to dominate his weight class

Biglinz - Thanks for posting. I knew the franklin fight was gonna be big. I rooting for Silva but he didnt get the W. Cain Velasquez is a beast. I was hoping Kongo would win because he has the tools to beat him but i guess it just wasnt his night.
Billkazb - Cro cop was a beast in pride but i think the reason why he was so impressive in pride and not UFC is because Pride had less rules and allowed you to do more. He needs to leave UFC and go to Affliction
