Yes I agree with the RAW meal as I have done it off and on for one of my dogs for 2 1/2 years. It is good for the all around , I give them chicken thighs or leg quarters and believe me if you work your dog and exercise them and feed them chicken you will see muscle tone and size bulk within a week or 2 . And all the marrow in the bones are really good for them and my dog eats tons of it.
Some good info for the ones who are looking to put some weight on thier dogs! thanks....i usually go with beef and throw some cottage cheese in it, they dog the bowl looking for 2nd's lol but im def going to go the chicken route. If all goes well then i might need me a big ass meat freezer butcher status! lol
Dogs cannot get salmonella (not sure on spelling) an you feed them chicken with the bones due to all the bone marrow in the bones is very good for them and a chicken bone uncooked does not dry out and splinter like when cooked they are actually a little flexible and I save even more money now in my town theres a meat market that sells these 10lb bags of chicken leg quarters for $7.50 a bag
not what i heard but then again i dunt feed raw i know people that do and it works for them I do givethem cooked chicken tho i buy a hole chicken with all the insides boil it with rice and grind it give to them in lil balls like treats they like it
its not good to give them cooked chickedn bc its hard for dogs to digest the grease. raw is great. bones dont splinter and after a couple weeks u will see a difference in ya dog.
